We like to WORK together as a team with our clients and within the office. Two minds are better than one, but no more than 16.

WORK was at the 2009 Pico Art Walk and Car Show. Where were you? On what was surely the hottest day in October, Eat. Sleep. Work. set up a display booth at the Art Walk to introduce ourselves to the community. We passed out some marketing materials and shook hands with Santa Monica Residents/art enthusiasts while nursing our sweet Friday night hangovers in the hot California sun.
We are grateful to the City of Santa Monica and the Pico Improvement Organization (PIO) for allowing us to take part in this event. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to spend a sunny Saturday!

Interesting chart I found of Six Revisions, I was surprised by Chrome’s performance, and very unamused by IE. Another interesting browser comparison chart is on w3schools where they compare the popularity of the more popular browsers.

Ah Lek was asked to make a sentence using 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10.
Not only did he do it 1 to 10, he did it again from 10 back to 1. This is what he came up with…..
1 day I go 2 climb a 3 outside a house to peep. But the couple saw me, so I panic and 4 down. The man rushed out and wanted to 5 with me. I ran until I fell 6 and threw up. So I go into 7-eleven and grabbed some 8 to throw at him. Then I took a 9 and try to stab at him. 10 God he run away. 10 I put the 9 back and pay for the 8 and left 7-eleven. Next day I called my boss and told him I was 6. He said 5, tomorrow also no need to come back 4 work. He also asked me to go climb a 3 and jump down! I don’t understand. I am so nice 2 him but I don’t know what he 1.

Since Eric has temporarily taken over the Eat.Sleep.Work blog, I thought I’d take a crack at entertaining the general populace with my own witticisms. My update will be less photographic and more thought-o-graphic. Less “about me”, more “about us”. Less Eric, more Roodles. I think you get the picture.
For this particular installment, I’ll take a minute (or several) to feature some of my favorite design-related tips, sites, twitters, etc… and briefly expound on each.
First of all, Lost and Taken is a great pattern source. Most patterns are usually high-res with few exceptions. Don’t forget to leave a small donation (2, 3, or 4$).
Don’t go through the day without adding Quipsologies to your routine. Quick, easy-to-sift-through links and inspiration at your leisure. You won’t find specifics here. All “quips” are related to design, typography, and art in general. Not for the lost designer or programmer, but for the artist in search of inspiration.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this much-needed break from the “all about Eric” overload. We all know he’s been ruling the Eat.Sleep.Work blog like a harsh dictator with an iron fist. I can’t describe my blog post in any other terms but “sticking it to the man”. So here it is, enjoy this brief act of freedom in honor of the recent 4th of July holiday, and remember, we will one day be able to call ourselves the U.S.A. (or the U.B.W.L.E: United Blog With Less Eric)*.
*We at Eat.Sleep.Work love Eric as if he was our own son, and love to tease him as if he was our little brother (or maybe that’s just me).
